I have a data set of player performances and am looking to calculate some correlations of their stats with win percentage. Some players have multiple performances, is it valid for me to take the mean of the player performances to calculate the correlation or should I keep all the players individual performances separate? I am afraid if I take the mean value I may lose some information on the player level with regards to their different performances.
