I've been wanting to learn more about the deformation theory of $p$-divisible groups and was looking for some references. I have looked into stuff like the Serre-Tate theorem with Katz's Serre-Tate local moduli, but I don't know where else to look for information. In Scholze's $p$-adic geometry, he mentions stuff like Rapoport-Zink spaces and period maps (at least for the case of elliptic curves). Can anyone suggest where to go next?

there is an annals of mathematics studies volume on this topic by Rapoport and Zink (available from either Rapoport's or Zink's website, dont remember which). There is also an appendix to one of Scholze's papers by Rapoport, I think. Maybe Weinstein's notes on Lubin--Tate theory would also be helpful.
