Question
Answer
I dont understand how you can go from a set of two numbers to a set of 3 numbers 9 ways. I count two identity functions, and four other functions mapping 1->2,1->3, 2->1, 2->3. Where do the 9 fucntions come from, and why are they represented as ordered pairs? What does that even mean, a function is an ordered pair?
