Seyntex is a Belgian textile manufacturing company. The company head office is located in Tielt.

History

The company was founded in Oostrozebeke in 1908 by Arthur Seynaeve as a flax weaving mill. Over the years the company expanded into weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing, coating, textile printing and manufacturing.
The company evolved to become Europe's leading supplier for military and security forces.
Today the company is led by the 4th Generation, with production facilities in different parts of the world.
The main focus of the company is high tech textiles, as well as bulletproof and CBRN.

John Field

John Field is a trademark of Seyntex. It has existed for quite some decades now, but got a boost some years ago. It used to specialize in horse riding and shooting (or hunting) clothes and specializes itself on shooting clothes and rainwear nowadays. The clothes tend to have special properties suited for their application like magnets for closing pockets (in order to quickly grasp a bullet), high visibility or anti-mosquito. In the future, it might expand to all kinds of outdoor clothing.
