As the question stated, I'm currently working on a software called ANSYS Fluent, particularly fluid flow analysis.
Besides doing all the simulation for getting pressure and wall shear stress, I'm curious as to how does the computer knew the calculations behind it. I read some of the provided user guide and partial differentiation equation was behind the amazing computer to generate the parameters.
I read out some partial differentiation equation online and offline resources. In summary, based on my blunt understanding:
PDE helps to solve unknowns by means of assuming the parameters. Besides that, I totally have no clue how it exactly works.
Would like if you could explain to me with simple examples.
Thank you!

Please edit the question to limit it to a specific problem with enough detail to identify an adequate answer. Avoid asking multiple distinct questions at once. See the How to Ask page for help clarifying this question. If this question can be reworded to fit the rules in the help center, please edit the question.

You're looking for "numerical analysis of PDEs", which is a massive research area, far too large to even summarize in a MSE post.
